A Love Affair with Words

So this is what the internet looks like from the other side, eh?

A lot quieter, a lot more empty, and a lot scarier than I imagined. But isn’t that what life is — a vast unknown waiting for us to leave our footprints as we start walking?

Welcome and thank you for spending some time with me. I assume that you, too, love words and writing and all things creative as much as you love curiosity and thought. And if you don’t, then welcome all the more.

It’s funny how we all crave to be understood yet we often give little heed to our words. We wish to share what’s inside our heads and hearts but fumble and mumble our ways through experiences. Other times it’s the thoughts that hold us back as we look to find ways to make sense of all we see and hear and give rise to through our musings.

The human mind is a glorious thing. We’ve spent centuries expanding our scope and our language capabilities. It’s time to celebrate what we can do rather than defer to a few emojis to communicate with the world.
